4/27 - Selling the Dream -- and -- Plesk Control Panel Integration
Jim Raffel Presents Selling the Dream
The largest business deals I have put together are never quantity
purchases of ColorMetrix or ProofPass.com. Instead while talking with a
customer or prospect I see a need or the customer sees a use of the
technology that goes beyond the current functionality. This is when it
gets fun. Instead of selling a piece of technology now I am selling a
dream of what the technology will do for the client in the future.
Paul Lyon Presents Plesk Control Panel Integration
Plesk is a Hosting Control panel build on PHP. Paul will show a few ways he's interfaced with Plesk including a Drupal module he wrote.
5/11 - Discussion: Best Practices, Tips, and Questions
For the first time, we're going to change up the format of the meetup. For about 90 minutes (with a quick break), we're going to discuss some of our best practices, tips and work flows. Share what has worked for you - share waht hasn't. Talk about what programs and scripts you use to save time. Bring questions to the group to find out better ways to do what you're doing. The discussion will be lead by a "moderator" who will bring up topics as well as ask you for your own. Hope to see you there.
